![]() Registered Member #3624 Posts: 2 | Hello guys, i dont know is this the right place to ask this, but here it comes: I would like to know, whats most simple way to export cod2 models only (player objects, gun objects) alone, and edit them later on in some 3d editing program as Autodesk 3ds Max or Maya. after editing them, i don't want to send them back to cod2, but to render them out to video file and compose them with some other recorded footage: for example i saw few movies that contain this kind of modeling, but only in Call of Duty 4 and Counter Source series games: http://www.sourceradio.com/modules.php?name=Vault&page=BestDamn&v=videos&vid=226 http://www.sourceradio.com/modules.php?name=Vault&page=BestDamn&v=videos&vid=374 if anyone can help it would be highly appreciated. | ||

![]() Registered Member #68 Posts: 299 | you can export models using Xmodel Exporter: http://diegologic.net/CoD/XmodelExporter.htm but it doesn't really support cod2 player characters. regolith, the author, couldn't figure out the right coords for the body parts. note that the current public version doesn't export skeletons (rigs) and it's rather hard to animate meshes without bones and joints you may have a look at the viewsleeve files: Download link [ Edited Mon Jun 15 2009, 01:01PM ] ![]() -=][ If it bores we can mod it ][=- | ||
